A typical married couple stays in one house with the children. They see each other from the morning they wake up until the night that they will doze off to sleep already. But what happens when couples are far away from each other? The main reason for this is actually the work difference, or they are having a trial separation. One spouse may be far away with the family just to maintain the family especially to finance issues. Patience and understanding. These are both important factors for a long distance relationship to survive. If both partners lack just one of these, for sure the relationship will be going nowhere. And all your efforts will just be useless.
Make a scheduled visit. Take turns in visiting your partner, so that there will be no feeling of unfairness in the situation that you have. By having scheduled visits you won’t be bored because you get to enjoy the feeling of excitement when you’re on your way of meeting your spouse.
Live a life. Being away from your spouse, also have an advantage because you get to know yourself more and improve it for the best and to make the kind of relationship grow. Being far away from your partner doesn’t mean that you don’t have a partner. So take time to go out with your friend and socialize. Going out doesn’t mean that you are committing a sin to your partner, it is just a way of improving yourself even more to build your skills and interests that will help your married life more exciting.
Avoid being jealous. Don’t make any doubts or uncertainties that your partner won’t be faithful to you. Make sure that you trust each other completely and know that you will both remain loyal to one another as you should really be.
Be positive. Always look at the bright side of life, that you are more blessed that you are in that kind of situation because to whatever situation that you are both in, it is still the both of you at the end. Be glad that you have each other no matter what happens, and that makes your relationship even more special.
